TeamD recommends: Carhartt

Some people have a vision that road rallies are high brow events for pretty cars on pretty roads. Those rallies do exist but those aren’t the sort that TeamD is all about. We like gravel, we like snow and we like mud. It is common to find us in British Columbia or on the Alcan Winter Rally in the winter enjoying their fine rallies and backroads as well as their delightful winter weather. When the weather is cold and the conditions yukky I consider my Carhartt Arctic jacket an essential piece of equipment.

This Carhartt jacket is rugged and warm. It has quilted lining and a tough shell that that can take years of heavy use. It has a generous fit that allows for layering or tucking a camera inside. It has deep pockets for keeping hands protected, storing gloves and whatever else needs carrying. And most important, this is a jacket that I don’t feel bad about bumping the dirty fender or mind laying on the ground in to inspect or fix the car.

We may not be doing hardcore work like felling trees, welding pipelines or climbing antenna towers but this hard working Carhartt jacket is not to be left behind and thus is TeamD Recommended.
